Although Kristin Tupling has only been involved with the Quarter Horse circuit for two short years, she is now a familiar face at all the shows. She competes with her gelding Breakinrullahs in most events but says her favourite is Equitation. She trains with Kelly Simpson in Barrie, and says her favourite show of the summer is Blacks.

Kristin and "Elmo" have only been together for a few seasons and already they have accomplished so much together! At the Area 3 awards banquet this year, she took home the Reserve Novice Youth Equitation award and will be receiving the same award at the Ontario banquet in January.

Kristin is seventeen years old and is in grade 12 at Barrie North Collegiate where her favourite subject is gym. She enjoys playing rugby at school as well as rep. volleyball. In the future, Kristin says she would like to be an acupuncturist. You'll find her in both novice youth and youth 14 - 18 classes next summer with her horse Elmo.
